[ステートメント]
本展では、四角く囲まれた作品画面内の空間と外部の現実空間を区分する境界としてのフレームに着目しします。そして、フレームに縛られざるをえない典型的なメディアである絵画に取り組みながら、フレームから逃れようとする試みを実践しているふたりの作家として、城田圭介と那須佐和子の作品を展覧します。

[Statement]
This exhibition focuses on the frame as a boundary that divides the space inside the square-enclosed work and the real space outside. The works of Keisuke Shirota and Sawako Nasu will be shown as two artists who attempt to escape from the frame while working in painting, a typical medium that is bound by it.
